As far as the theme of German war time goes, forget Valkyrie(kind of a showmanship movie with little, oh so little depth) but, The Reader offers suspence and drama; is historical era, is sad and thoughtful and somewhat psychological, but with good new acting and ^sexy& too.

I'll watch a yoghurt commercial if it's got Kate Winslet in it. This movie looks damn good, even without the obvious eye candy.

I expected valkyrie to be either really good because the story behind it had so much potential or so bad its good- tom cruise in and eye patch!! There were exactly two good things about that movie- the popcorn and the closing credits. Mad

I'm sure Valkyrie had potential in the beginning, then Tom Cruise had to sign on and ruin it automatically.

Well, if you like her in a yogurt commercial, you are certainly going to be pleasantly surprised in this one.
