I'm looking for somewhere to go on honeymoon in South East Asia. Having already been to Thailand and Boracay, I'd like to try somewhere different.
All I'm looking for is a very beautiful, relaxing beach that we can remember for the rest of our days.
Has anyone got any recommendations? Money isn't an issue, and I'm not too bothered about things to do as I'm planning on stopping off in Hong Kong on the way back.
Thanks in advance. |

Thanks for the suggestions.
The Andaman Islands and Dubai look great but a little too far away.
I want to cut down on flying time if possible. |

Coco Beach Resort in the Philippines is great. Very relaxing, great rooms at amazingly cheap prices. The restaurant is incredible. The resort is actually a Dutch run place, so you have Philippine food, fusion food, and straight up European food. We had a four course meal overlooking the ocean, with lobster, soup, salad, desert, all for about $25 a person. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The diving and snorkeling are pretty good. One day, we rented a boat, they took us around, found a private beach, and cooked shishkebabs for us right there. Another day, we went into the small town nearby, got some hand made crafts. And then we went back to Manilla to check out the city. But, the best part is the convenience. You stay in a hotel in Manila, depending on when your flight gets in, then they send a van for you and take you to the port, they then load your bags onto the boat and drive you to the island. The reason it's called 'Coco Beach' is because they have a small shop there and make all natural coconut oil bath soap, so no Dial on that trip.
Hong Kong could make a nice honeymoon, but it'd be pricey. You've got world quality dining downtown, a peaceful fishing village and beautiful beach and scenic hiking trails 10 minutes away by ferry. And the casinos of Macau are only 45 minutes away by ferry.
I went to Guam. I liked it, but my wife was more drawn to the shopping malls than the honeymoon itself. If you do go to Guam, be sure to rent a car for a day. The island has some pretty old buildings--very scenic. |

| Indonesia!! Bali is perfect for a honeymoon, of course, but Flores would also be a gorgeous honeymoon destination! Lombok has some beautiful unspoiled beaches too. |
