A pretty good setup to find bus routes and where they go.
You can search by routes and destinations...
http://businfo.daegu.go.kr/en/
Also, regarding international flights, in my experience it's much cheaper and easier to fly out of Busan Airport. Until now there has not been a direct shuttle. It's 7,200won, and will get you there in 70minutes.
Bus times from Dongdaegu to Kimhae:
6:40am
9:00am
11:50am
2:40pm
4:30pm
7pm
Kimhae to Dongdaegu:
8:30am
10:40am
2:00pm
4:20pm
7:00pm
9:30pm
The bus station is located across the small street from Dongdaegu Train Station, where the subway station entrance and the big glass pyramid is located.
When you cross the street, you will first notice the very large bus station. Then further down the street are the Incheon buses on the left.
Keep going about 100meters. amd on the right, look for Kyoungbuk Bus terminal. Its quite small. |

Good information, thanks for posting. I too prefer flying out of Gimhae, as it seems to be much less of a hassle. The bus stations by Dongdaegu can get confusing. The ones to Andong are hidden away around the corner from the Incheon ones. I haven't used Kyoungbuk yet (didn't know about that one ). |

Yeah, I don't know why people trek from Daegu to Incheon when Busan is much less hassle and cost.
I suppose there is less choice in destinations, but most people I know still ride all the way to Seoul without even checking. |
