sorry if this sounds stupid, but heck, I don't know....

For some reason my washing here does not remove hairs well compared to the one I've got back home. I've never replaced a filter before so am clueless. I have a Tromm B900 and behind the trap door is a hose with a plastic screw end and also a filter thing that looks like this http://i12.ebayimg.com/07/i/001/09/10/f96d_1.JPG

The thing was in a state when I moved in so I cleaned everything in it and behind the trap door.

I couldn't find any lint filters so I'm out of ideas of what to do. It's built in under the stove so can't move it. Please help...thanks!

I happen to know the research engineers that designed the Tromm models. I'll ask them next week, IF you pm me with a link to this thread, or copy and paste your question into a pm.
