Hello,
http://www.cjcity.net/apps/pani.do?doprocess=display&pnImg=20090120093828229.jpg
I am trying to find a home for this little girl. She is currently at the Cheong-Ju animal shelter and will be euthanized on January 29. I see a lot of potential in her, and think she could make someone a very happy owner.
I am willing to foster her until a potential adopter comes along, but am wondering if there is any current interest for her. She is completely blind in her right eye, and is 2 months old. I am not entirely sure of her breed but she looks like she might grow to be a small/ medium size dog. If anyone has any interest for her, please let me know. I am willing to do what it takes to find her a good home even if it means money out of my own pocket.
My email address is . It's probably the best way to contact me. [/img] |

I'm in Seoul, Konkuk university area. I'm really not sure if I have time to own a dog, and I already have two cats, but please don't let that dog be euthanized. If you can pick her up, get her shots, I'll . . . I don't know, see if I can take her off your hands? My cats tend to get stressed out around dogs and start peeing on everything I own, so it would be a tricky situation, but if there is no other way and nobody else will take her and the only other option is euthanization . . . Then I'll take her.
Thanks. |

Thank-you so much for your help. I am happy to know there are people who care about dogs in Korea. I am willing to foster the puppy, and if no one is interested in adopting her before her euthanization date (in 3 days) I will pick her up and take her on myself. I really couldn't let her be killed. She is just so promising. Her markings are beautiful, and I think the fact she has a missing eye is almost endearing |

I agree, very endearing. Though honestly, it's the look of pure pitiful terror on her face that makes me even consider taking in a dog to torment my cats (and as a result, torment me with horrible pee smell). My biggest problem is that I work all day, but I have a friend who said he wanted a dog, so maybe if you can't keep her and I can't keep her, maybe he would be willing. Anyway, keep in touch and let me know how everything goes. I know there are people in Itaewon who do a lot of animal-rights work and will help out people by getting vet shots for them, etc. Maybe search around the boards?

Seriously, this puppy is so adorable and one of a kind. I hope you can find a good home for her. I would love to adopt but Im new to Korea and I have a really small apartment which I dont think would be suitable for her. Plus, I have ridiculous hogwon hours from 11-8pm. I really wish I could take her though! |
