Hi Everyone. After getting my visa canceled can my boss still frame me for the blacklist? The story is that I am changing schools, the school that I am working with gave me a letter of release and said on feb 20 will be my last day at work and on that day I will get my visa canceled. I know my boss very well and sure the game will not be over on feb 20. Can she accuse me for something or get me blacklisted even after I cancel my visa or I no longer work for her?
THANKS |

If you've done nothing ilegal, I don't believe there is anything they can do to blacklist you.
Knowledgable posters on this forum say you can go to immigration, tell them you've quit your job, and ask them for an exit order.
They'll give you a date by which you must leave the country.
Just make sure you give in your Alien Registration Card to immigration at the airport when you leave and then you are free to look for another job.
I'd advise you go for a public school job, to avoid this kind of heaache again. |

the whole point of a blacklist is something the owners do after the teacher leaves.
this is the site that was blacklisting teachers for a while - then they changed everything to K - the teachers' names used to be in E
http://www.kftra.co.kr/
I don't read K so I don't know what's on there now and the E version doesn't say anything about it. |

just wait until someone calls him/her for a reference! |

hi again, say if Im working at the new school and the old director accuses me of something does that mean automatic termination from my new job or can i keep working till they prove something? What do u think?
Secondly my old school is saying that its fine that I use her visa she will just transfer my visa to the new school...but i sense something fishy...if i transfer her visa is there more chances of getting screwed my her? like i know the actuall visa will expire on sept 1st, she could easily cancel my visa without me not knowing it? I dono i hope this mess is over soon. |

Bad schools will try to continue your headache unfortunately. However, after you are employed, you don't have to worry about finding a job until your contract is up. That should give you time to take your school to Labour if they put you on a blacklist (this is against Labor Law) and get your name off. |
