The thread title says it all. I'm looking to find some Mexican food in Busan this weekend. Does anyone have directions to a restaurant?
After searching, I pulled up some info on a place called Taco al Puebla in Haeundae, but it was written about a year and a half ago. Is this place still open?
http://forums.eslcafe.com/korea/viewtopic.php?p=1251915 Thanks to VanIslander for a helpful post!
Thanks in advance for any help. |

From the beach (near the aquarium), walk towards the subway. Take a right down the Korean traditional market street. At the end of the market, cross the street and go left. Take your first right down a small alley. It's maybe 10 meters down the alley on your right. Hope this helps... I wish Korea had street names. |

Thanks for the info. What are the chances that a small restaurant like this will be open on new years day? |

It's a pretty good bet that it'll be open on this day but not Lunar NY. I really don't know and I can't check because I'm on my way out.
However, a lot of people don't know this but a second taco place just opened in Busan last week. It's a Busan franchise called Fuzzy Navel which is in a few other parts of the city. This new one is in Haeundae and is right by the beach. I was there for drinks the other night but it was right after Christmas Dinner so we didn't eat. They have a pretty extensive menu but I cannot attest to the quality of the food. However, the quality at Taco Al Puebla is very good. My favourite restaurant in the city. I recommend the Beef Burrito.
Directions for Taco Al Puebla:
Go to Haeundae Subway Stop, go out exit three. Go to your first main intersection and take a left. Walk down that road, passing in front of the big SAVE ZONE mall. When that street dead ends, look across the street for the alley and walk straight into it. The restaurant is down there on your right.
Directions for Fuzzy Navel Bar/Taco Restaurant:
Go to Haeundae Subway Stop, go out exit three. Walk straight along the sidewalk towards the beach. Just before you get to the beach, it's on your left, the second last building I believe. Across the street from the Sunset Hotel and the KFC. I don't know their hours but I would bet that they'll be open after 6 or so.
Good luck and happy eating!

PS If you do go eat at the Fuzzy Navel, let us know how it is, will you? |

I can attest to the fact that Fuzzy Naval makes an alright burrito. I can't remember how it would measure up in the states, but it was well worth the trip from Ulsan for me. I think I will have to try this Taco Senorita next time. My stomach is growling ........ |

I heard about one in Gyeongsan, the next city over, called La Cantina. I plan to check it out when I move there next month. It sounds pretty good according to their galbijim wiki page. |
