I'd like to invite any creative teachers to try Project Peace.
I started the site to encourage classrooms around the world to come together and through music, share a message of peace.
I started in the New Year and now will finally start some promotion and make some announcements about prizes and sponsorship.
Download the songs (or choose your own), the song lyric cards - take photos - make a video and submit. Really cool and the students love seeing themselves on video and also learn some English along the way. See many examples on the site plus lots of videos for teaching about peace, other website links.
Any feedback appreciated.
Shalom,
DD

I have a camera, a classroom, and students. The creativity part may be questionable but I'm willing to give it a try. One question though, can you recommend some video editing software. Preferably something free because basically I'm cheap.
Thanks. |

Dean,
no problem there... Use Windows Movie Maker. If you have windows , you have it. Click start and click the movie reel program icon. Very easy to use. Upload photos, put in the music, time it by stretching the clips and then export as a movie. Watch the video at http://projectpeace.ning.com/page/peace-packs to learn how.
But if you just don't have the know how or time - just upload the photos to me and I'll edit it. Takes me 5-10 min. I've done several of the videos for other teachers...Instructions on the Peace Pack page...
Cheers,
DD
