I am back in Korea with about a week and a half off and was looking for stuff to do in the Seoul area. Since it is coldish I was wondering if some people out there knew of some good places or things to do in the Seoul area.I am open to any suggestions since I do not want to be just sitting in my apartment the whole break.

I went to Seoul Tower on tuesday. Kinda crowded, but worth it. The view is amazing! I'd recommend going at dusk. It's free as long as you don't mind hiking stairs, otherwise you pay to use the gondola(sp?).

You should play tourist.

Go see different museums if it's your thing (Seoul Arts Center has good exhibitions, Leeum Gallery always amazing...)

Have you seen the Seodaemun prison?

Go see the different palaces near downtown when not too cold.

Or just chill out at Coex, go to the movie theater, aquarium.

Pick up some books and go read somewhere.

I dont like Leeum so much. The museum people are very anal about taking photos even without flash. They even chewed me out for taking a photo of condensation on the window.
