So, I've given my school a month to and things just aren't working out. My house is still freezing, there is no hot water and they won't fix it, there are no curtains in my home so no privacy, they won't get me cable tv saying it's impossible, will not give me all my vacation time because they need to have longer camps, no air conditioner for the summer, etc.

I tried my best but it just is one thing after another and I don't want to live like this for a year.

I have no idea though how to change public schools and what the process is.

First I know I need a LOR but what then?
Find a job and then
1. Do I need to leave Korea and get another visa?
2. Do I need to get another ARC?

Can anyone tell me what the process is?

thanks

Oh, and yes God is still good to me, so no wisecracks please. The bible says He works all things together for good for those that love Him. That means when something bad happens He will turn it around for good. thanks much

It's quite simple. Do you have spare cash?

If you do, tell your school you are resigning, give them 30 days notice.

Go to immigration and tell them you are going to quit your job and demand an exit order.

This order will give you a leaving date, when you leave the country, hand in your alien card to immigration, and your visa will be cancelled, regardless of what your employer wants.

You will then be free to get another job. Are you with GEPIK/EPIK or SMOE?

You should have complained as high up as possible, a while ago.

It is totally unacceptable to be without everything you've cited.

Now, please stop being a willing victim.

Public schools have to provide the facilities you don't have.

There is nothing stopping you from getting out of this awful situation, you must be assertive.

Do it! Laughing

I've been told you can transfer schools within your province. Contact the supervisor at your POE and tell them you want to be transferred to another school. But do it NOW, I think the deadline is right around the corner.

Sounds like you and I have very similar situations.
