so what's your fave?? I went this afternoon cuz our school got the whole week off Laughing wasn't too crowded but the ajummas were all out w/their little cooking pans and green toothpiks

I managed to sample just about everything - dumplings are always my fave and they seem to go really fast. I tasted some fish and went to another one and this lady got in front of me and kept on taking pieces!! back in the U.S. you only take 1!! here it seems maybe you can take all you want? I've seen hordes of people swoop down and clear a plate in a few seconds!!

don't like the sausage cuz I don't eat pork but mostly other stuff is pretty good. Laughing

they even had the chicken fingers out - never sampled them before - wound up buying a bag! Very Happy

I like the free steak samples that Homeplus did for the USDA beef. Cant go wrong with ddeok galbi or hwang mandu samples either.

The problem with that one is that they served the good cut of beef as the sample, but the ones that were on sale were the cheap cuts. My wife noticed the discrepancy and asked if what she sampled was the exact type for sale; the salesperson told her no. Bait and switch.

Ilove the swarming gannets at the free food section.

Got to sharpen the elbows if you want to get fed

Costco today had: grapes, 3 different kinds of chocolate including white chocolate truffles, beef with green peppers, caramel corn, pizza, orange wedges, and salmon. TOP THAT, E-Mart. Laughing

E-mart will never top them. Although, for people that live 3hours away from a Costco, that could be their trump card Confused

I've never eaten a free sample in a supermarket. Unhygienic.
