Hey everyone, I've been lurking around the forums for a couple months while I've been preparing to move to Busan with the next EPIK batch. I'm an avid disc golfer and don't want to give up my favorite hobby if possible. I've found evidence of at least one course somewhere around Seoul, but can't find any real info to support it. Does anyone play disc golf and know whether or not any courses are in Korea? If there are, are they any good? If there's one in Busan, that would just make my whole year.

Sorry bro, no baskets in Korea. I used to play on the tour on the west coast and was bummed that there's no golf here. Pick up a bag of 150g discs and play the Japan Open every 2 years (next is in 2010) or pick up the ball variety like I have done. Good luck!

I researched this 3 years ago. At the time, there were no known courses or even a single basket.

OP, I know you can buy a portable basket online, you could import it and play in large parks, or university and school grounds.

We have a 20 hole course in Incheon. No baskets, but we use trees,
lamp posts and rocks. We have been using this course for years.

There is also an impromptu course on Deokjeok Island.

PM me if you want to join us when it warms up a little.

I have always been a big fan of skipping out on baskets and playing 'guerilla disc' when necessary/available. I have spotted several likely areas here in Yeonsu-gu (incheon). Cohiba, where do y'all have your 20 hole course??? Maybe we can play when it warms up?

I think the Incheon course is in Children's Grand Park. A nice Canadian discer (big into ultimate) whom has since returned to his home country gave me the map, but I couldn't round up enough guys/gals to huk. Lemme know when you're organizing a day out, and I'd be in it to win it.

Where is Children's Grand Park?

I looked a bit, but it seems to be in seoul......I think I could play a nice 4-5 hole in the median across the street from my house, and perhaps with all the leaves gone a nice vertical course of shorties in the hills behind the house. I live in Yeonsu-gu, right near Dongmak.......anybody wanna throw sometime soon? It was warmish today!
