Good ep in that it started answering a lot of questions.

The bit about how Richard visited Locke at birth had bothered me for a while now.

Widmore on the island was a nice reveal, but about that bomb.

Was it referred to at all in any past episodes/present day?

Used to be a great show, one of the most wonderfully scripted and clever programs ever, IMO.

Now eating and surving aren't even concerns, it isn't about survival on an island so much as whacky time travel bulls**t.

i hope they get away from the time-travel angle. that certainly is letting all the air out of the balloon for me

and whatever happened to the bomb since MSIL (mad scientist in love) didnt defuse it?

I'm not sure why many here are so anti-time travel. Is there a reason for that? Yes, it's been done, but so has everything else under the Sun. At least it seems that the time travel will not allow them to go back and "fix" things and they are not using time travel, they are more like victims of time slippages. I don't feel like the time thing is that big of a deal. The main story still seems to be about an epic struggle to control the island between Ben (and maybe someone above him) and Widmore. I'm still enjoying the show. Right now the time slippage seems to be being used only as a means of showing how this whole struggle for the island began.

I like the new style of Lost.

I also want to see more of Ana Lucia. In a bikini.

I'm also liking the time travel deal. It's a new element, and I don't think it's too much or has taken the story in a weird direction at all. Lost has always been a bit wacky with a complicated plot.
Good point flakizer, using time travel is an interesting way to answer a lot of questions about the island. It's different than just doing flashbacks, which have been done in pretty much all seasons.

So far I'm loving the way Lost is headed.
Who thinks Locke is actually dead when he and Ben visit Jack? I have a small feeling he isn't actually dead, and he just did that to get Jack back to the island. That - and the fact that Locke's just too great of a character to get killed off!

They buried it.

that would be the obvious solution, but for one small problem: it has been implied that one someone meets a "time-travellor", they forget them. desmond never remembers until years later, anyways, and only after so much time has passed in "real time"

so the old others should have forgotten daniel's advice after he slipped out of their time. or maybe im being too anal
