Well, it was a long and not so arduous journey, but I finally got my Visa taken care of. I got my CRC back from my state and some juvenile charge showed up. I got a CRC from another state, but they asked for my other one anyway just in case. I told them waht happened and SMOE still sent my letter of appointment. I was only a trespassing charge when i was 17.

This will be my second tour of Korea and I am super excited. There are many weird things about it, but I had a great time there. Some days were "only in Korea", but no country is perfect. I lived in Bundang last year. I hope living in Seoul is everything I thought it could be. Unfortunately they dont tell me where I work or where I will live until trainign is finished I guess. Do they show you off like cattle and auction you at the end?

If anyone has any questions about the process give me a shout out. Otherwise I will just say hey to everyone!

Not like a love date auction but there will be lots of debauchery, anxiety and boredom in the leadup to leaving day. Good luck.

Wow! A government job! Don't make waves, abandon all hopes and aspirations and keep your seat warm.

Ahhhh the youthful ignorance of new hires... 5 months in I miss the joy of the unknown Wink

Nahhhh... Seoul is cool... And from most accounts I've lived, heard, or read SMOE is one of the better deals in town... No worries about pay/pension/tax/NHIC/etc. etc. etc... And lots of time off, lol...

So congrats new folks... The fun is just about to begin...
(Bring a book, there isn't much else to do during orientation aparently Razz)
