I emailed the Korean Consulate in the states to ask a question about my visa and while I was at it, I asked if there was type of 'visa' or 'approval' that i could be issued that would allow me to teach english privately.
Have I "red flagged" myself now....and if ever make it to Korea, that they will be watching me to see if I teach privately? Put my name in some crazy database of high risks or something? |

Just not with an E2 Visa |

And they still aren't legally, unless you do the tax correctly. |

Get off the pot dude. You are getting overly paranoid. You are NOT flagged for anything. |

I highly doubt that they're that organized that they would red flag you for anything. They don't even have the ability to keep records that we have university degrees from one year to the next.
Don't worry. |

When you see the black vans following you at 3 km/hr, just whip out some good ol' American beef. |
