For over 16 years I was a bodyguard for "glamour girls"(Playboy/Penthouse models), and the adult film industry. I worked short time for women like Tracy Lords, Arianna Giovanni and the like. Including those 16 years were 20 or so I spent as security for various movie/TV personalities. No way I could name them all without looking at my scrapbook(which is 8K miles away).
Some that stand out are:
Ron Perlman
lou Ferrigno(BIG mo-fo!)
Tom Savini
Lisa Marie Scott(PB model/actress)
Alley Bagget(PB model, not sure of the spelling) |

Having worked in a skateboard shop in Atlanta in my younger days I met and hung-out with alot of punk bands and so forth but here goes my list of "famous" people I have had an encounter with.
Mike Muir, Luchie, and some others from Suicidal Tend. We got in a car wreck carrying them to eat.
Wattie from the Exploited.
JFA, Circle Jerks, 7 Seconds, Johnny Lydon(Rotten), El Duce, GG Allin, Joey Shithead, Mike Watt, well it's kinda pointless you get the idea. Many many bands and some skaters that know one would know now anyways.
Hollywood types. The bass player from Areosmith (moron) Kenny Loggins(mullet) Oh on the shuttle bus out to the plane in Frankfurt I sat next to the singer of the Scorpions, he was short. Heckled a drunk Terry Funk at the San Francisco airport. |

I'm mates with quite a few 'famous' Australian rugby league players (yes, they are all boofheads, but lovable.. mostly). I am also mates with the guy that won 'Australia's Next Top Model' wooot! haha
Being a live music and festival addict, I've met a few renown Aussie musicians at gigs including John Butler, Xavier Rudd, the dudes from The Beautiful Girls and The Fumes, and some international acts including Michael Franti and Cody Chestnutt.
I met Anthony Mundine (Australian boxer) in Bali a couple of years ago.
I have hung out with Indonesia's most famous reggae band called Steven and the Cocounttreez several times on Gili Trawangan. I have also hung out with the boys from Epik High when I was studying in Korea in 2004!! Exciting, I know.
Oh, and I sat next to Alan Alder on a parkbench in London. |

| I once answered the phone to Ian McKellen (Gandalf). My dad is a landscape gardener and was fixing up his grandmother's garden. I knew who it was when he said hello, but when he said "it's Ian McKellen" I had to do my best to stop myself collapsing into a fit of giggles. |

| Nah, not Kylie. I make a point of steering clear of people who look better in hotpants than I do. My self-esteem is too frail to take such a battering. |

You prolly mean Shawn Bradley. If he's still playing, he's the only player in the NBA who's taller than Yao Ming. I remember watching T-Mac dunking over him once in the playoffs. LOL. |

You forgot about Manute Bol. Talk about a dude who was a wire. Looked like somebody just stretched him out from like 5'11" normal man to him. |

Well, he's from the old days. I also remember Gheorghe Muresan. It baffles me how they were not the best centers in the league. How hard can it be for them to score? |

David Lange twice- super nice guy
Peter Blake belonged to the same yacht club as me, but each time I met him I was a bit over-awed to have anything sensible to say. I was 20 on a yoof development racing programme, he had just won every single leg of the Whitbred round the world race. He shouted us beers every now and again, 'cos he knew we were all on the bones of our arse. Sweet dude. I cried when he was murdered.
Anton Oliver (up close the dude looks like he carved outta rock!) and a buncha other All Blacks. NZ is a small place- most celebs are pretty easy to meet if thats yr buzz. |
My best mate at the time was living in Wellington. His roomate was John Toogood (Shihad). John would stay in his room all day playing guitar, he wouldn't even come out for q smoke with us. He said he was gonna be famous.
Graham Brazier saw me stagger out of the bathroom and asked me how the hell I was gonna enjoy the Hello sailor show being as wasted as I was. I enjoyed the show.
AJ Hacket (The Bungee inventor guy) was waiting behind me to use a cash machine in Malaysia. He was there to set up a new Bungee jump venture.
Tim and Neil Finn came to dinner once. My Mom went to school with Tim. |

As a waiter I have served Sean Penn,
Darryl Hannah and that dead Kennedy ( not the band) guy she was with.
Matt Mckenzie from that show Nots landing, Buntz from Hill street Blues.
Harry Sinden the boston Bruins Gm with One of the Sutter brothers.
I served the Aussie cricket team for four days. Didnt know who they were but Warne was there and Glen Mcraw and I talked the most to Boonie.
Sat on the plane with the Freemantle Dockers from Perth to melbourne. Have met the Chicago black hawks many times as my cousin played on the team.
Thats when Dennis Savard played on the team. Met pavel Bure. I delivered a pizza to Tom Sellick and partied with Robbie backman of BTO.
I saw that model Kathy Ireland walking down the street ( wow she was nice)
The stange thing about uni in Aus is you have many Aussie rules guys who attend the same classes as you. We had lots of people from Carlton, Magpies and other teams.
We had Greg Norman at our bar and that Aussie guy who kicked for the San Diego chargers. |

- Colin James
- Jennifer Batten (Michael Jackson's guitarist)
- Jean Charest (Former Premier of Quebec)
- Marc Garneau (First Canadian in space)

la pice de la resistance...
NATALIE PORTMAN
I met her when she was in T.O. for the Toronto International Film Festival. She was shopping downtown and I said hello. We talked for a few minutes and I invited her for a drink and she said yes. She told me about her press schedule and plans to go back and visit Israel after the junket was over. Very nice person in real life! Exactly like you see her on the big screen. |
