I'm a flutist, grade 10 with the RCM. I brought piano (harpsichord) parts to a lot of my music because I was hoping to find a partner here. Hasn't happened yet. I don't live in Seoul but I'm on the subway. Do you have access to a piano? What sort of music do you like? I have Bach, Handel, Haydn, Mozart, then a big void until early-modern French stuff like Faure. Does any of this appeal to you?

I attend concerts whenever possible, but they're expensive in Seoul, so I tend to look elsewhere.

I've played the tuba since I was in grade 7. Played ever since, took sometime off sine I graduated university due to me always renting my own instrument (tubas are not cheap!) but finally got back into playing 6 or 7 years ago. I joined the Bundang Wind Orchestra and played for several years, briefly joined the Suwon Wind Orchestra (as I was living in Suwon, made sense) but then moved back to Bundang so rejoined them. However I got busy so took last year off. Recently inquired about rejoining as my schedule reopened but they already have 3 tubas so I might rejoin the Suwon Wind Orchestra again. Both are amateur community orchestras but are very challenging and enjoyable to watch.
As far as going to concerts, in my 12 years here I've seen the Seoul Pops orchestra play, and the Russian National Symphony. Both were enjoyable and I too would like to go to more concerts.

hey! thanks for the feedbacks..

i go to this music studio in my neighborhood to play.. they got a really nice grand piano for me to play..

i've performed once at the Cosmos Hall at the Steinway store in seocho.. it was that studio's student recital.. they invited me to play too..

i like rachmaninoff, chopin, beethoven, debussy especially..
i've been to one opera in korea. Macbeth but unfortunately, there's no english subtitle.. so i didn't understand wut they were singing about..

i'm really interested in the bundang wind ensemble.. since i work in bundang and i played the clarinet as my secondary instrument at the music school..
can you give me more info on that ensemble?
