Hi
A family member is coming to Korea for a few months and I was wondering, where is the best place that he can go, probably in Itaewon I assume, to get a cell phone and pay-as-you-go minutes or a type of method to charge the phone up with minutes?
He doesnt have a credit card, so he cant get one at the airport
If anyone knows, can you direct me to the exact location?
Thx |

You're going to have to get someone to help you, though, I think. I know a few years ago, SK told me that I could only have 1 phone number on an E-2 visa. I had an old pre-pay phone, but SK wouldn't let me activate it. I had to get a Korean friend put it on her ID number. |

Sorry, but what do you mean by "bog" ?
Also, are their any specific shops in Itaewon that sells them and for how much usually? |

I've never heard of 'bog' before, either. Well, unless you're referring to wetlands, that is.
It's pretty arrogant to use regional slang, and then expect others to go out of their way to look it up.
By the way, I did.

I can't imagine why anyone would want a phone that is 'a poorly drained usually acid area rich in accumulated plant material, frequently surrounding a body of open water, and having a characteristic flora (as of sedges, heaths, and sphagnum).' |

Yes, but it's fun to see them spend more time finding links to support their illogical slang rather than just to explain it in a language others understand. |
