I hold a bachelors degree and am interested in teaching English in Korea. My boyfriend wants to go with me however, he does not have a degree. He contacted the embassy and they told him since he couldnt go on a spouse-visa and he needed more than 90 days that he would need to go to Korea and find a job and then fly to Japan to get his working visa. So we were wondering if there are non-teaching jobs there for people without degrees? Even if its at a restaurant, hotel, etc. anything would do.
We also wondered if there are any rules pertaining to him living with me in my supplied housing? If its okay for him to live with me or not?
Thanks for you help in advance!

There are non-teaching jobs in K-land for people with professions/skills that cannot be filled by Ks. Likewise, there are jobs for people with no skills who are willing to do the triple D jobs the Ks will not.

The chances of your boyfriend getting a non-E-2 work visa are next to zero unless he possesses some extraordinary talent/skill/education.

As for living together, much would depend on your location. However, no matter where you are, you will be 'talked about' as the foreigners with loose morals who are 'living in sin' and it will affect your job to some degree or another.
