I thought In Bruges was pretty good. I doubt I'll ever watch it again, but if it's on TV and I have nothing to do, it'd still entertain me.
It could have just been a typical shooting movie, where there's no question that the good guy's going to win, and the final fight between the good guy and bad guy turns into a bloody fist-fight lasting at least 15 minutes, but it wasn't.
By the way, off topic, have you seen Top Gear? It's a British car show, but it's hilarious. There are three hosts, a stereotypical pompous Brit, a complete nerd, and a good looking guy. They rip on each other, rip on bad cars, and hate RV's and motor homes. (they call them caravans) The best parts are the challenges. There are a few videos on YouTube, but not full episodes.
Here's one of my favorites:

In Bruges was brilliant, Gran Torino was average at best.
Taken is quite a good movie. It was In the line of fire with Clint and John.
In Bruges had me laughing so hard and I can't imagine how Colin can be considered a bad actor. |
