Shane - I am suprised no one here weighed in on this event. I am all for believing in a cause, but WTF. It seems a nice incarceration stay is in store for those who truely believe in their cause. I have not yet arrived in country but it seems that those who have viewed this video and are in country, might view this as par for the course in Korea. No big deal.

There are usually violent demos every six months to a year. Korea is a very strange political animal to say the least, I sort of admire their protesting spirit.

The problem is the issues are all screwed up. The education system and massive corruption are left alone, while the dictatorship hangover of group think is ignited via some absolutely crazy idea to make political ground. Did you see the so called "Crazy Cow" protests? All stated when TV show blatantly lied.

In this case, hurling moltovs at private cars/building and the police in an organized fashion is asking for a severe beat down. Thw Police are being called heavy handed because they "caused deaths." Then of course the Police are an arm of a govt. that some would like to see taken down. The beef thing was started for the same reason.

It's going to take much longer for Koreans to get over the idea that unity of thought is strength.

I don't understand why snipers were not used to take these potential murderers out. They should have been shot on the 19th. Also, at one point in the video there are 4 or 5 police buses parked along the street, and cars and a city bus are being allowed to drive by as molotov cocktails are raining down onto the street! Sheer madness. Just when I think Koreans are becoming more civilized, I see something like this and wonder what kind of a country is this, truly.

See all aspects, judge objectively.

The first full slide is full of such loaded words I don't quite see how that is possible..

Cause dude, IT LOOKS LIKE PORN. Go back and look again at your first post. All I get is a title and a youtube link. What do you want from me? If I posted that link and that title, would you have clicked on it? Didn't think so. Jesus.

Sniper would be too much I feel, and give the idiots more publicity. Tear gas and rubber bullets? Oh....but then it would be "LMB is just like the old dictators." The cops can't really win.
