My contract originally started March 1st - Feb 28th. I have a signed copy of this. Then it got revised from March 13- feb 28th. I signed that copy, not knowing.
I am officially out of my severance pay....

I get paid on the 15th, for the entire month of Feb, if I leave on that date, is there any way I can get screwed out of my pension as well? |

or did they tell you they'll reimburse you after you've left Korea? |

have you checked first that they`ve actually been paying into your pension? If so, I don`t see how they could screw you out if it now. They can`t just withdraw their previous payments once they`ve paid in to it iirc |

My other option, which I will try when the principal is back. Is simply asking. If Koreans can't say NO, cause it ruins face value he wont be able to say no, they might let me stay until the 13th work 2 extra weeks, and get my severance...but then would they pay me for the extra 2 weeks, or would the severance cover it.... |

| According to the 'revised' contract it's from March 13, 2008 - Feb 28, 2009 not a full year. Therefore, no severance. |

OP, I hope you kept both the original and f'ed up contracts.
If you kept the original, you can claim that you're under two different contracts. Tell them they owe you one year's salary and severance from the first contract. Thus far, you were only being compensated from your second contract. So go after the money from your first contract.
Go find yourself a lawyer. |
