You try not to be a judgmental person in life, but sometimes it's hard.

Now personally I'm torn on this point of view. To be honest I've seen quite few Thai girls that are out of this world and as a result I've definitely fantasized about them. In addition I haven't gotten any in about a week. So I'm real to the fact that there might be some internal issues going on.


But still when I see a Western guy with a Thai girl (especially older and uglier dudes) I can't help but judge them.


I mean to each his own, and if two consenting adults choose to do this then so be it. I'm open like that.

But I still think these guys are losers!

Especially this older guy I met who described his interaction with a Thai prostitute as "making love".







I wonder how other males feel about this when in Thailand?

yeah! preach on, but I used to hate when I was volunteering at a refugee camp in thailand, learned to speak pretty good thai and would have some wanker tourists commenting about me when I walked by with a couple of my students - drove me crazy
but isnt that life in asia? sometimes i think gender roles are just more open......

Last year it bothered me, but it was my first trip to Thailand.

Last year, I met a british guy who lived in England. He had a 3 year old son with a gal from chang mai and went to bangkok months every year to be with the gal and his son, but liked the ladies.


This year, I met a 55 year old dude who owned a bar on rat u thit road in patong. He had 2 kids, and was faithful to his wife. She is 27.


I met a gal years younger and I didn't give her a dime.

There are genuinely good people there-now, while I was at a restaurant one there was this late 40's German dude with a huge gut waiting around until midnight to take home the 16 year old greeter-that was the only down point of my vacation. As much as I would like to, I cannot change that, but don't be quick to judge as kimberly in south korea does more than enough of that.


Dude, you know I think you're cool, but maybe you should hang out less with kimberly adjosshi, because you sound like one in this thread.

endo - I used to HATE people with that attitude - I volunteered in thailand for 9 months, speak pretty good thai and was the only foreigner around where I was volunteering, but sometimes I would go into town with some students or friends and would walk by other foreigners who would gossip and all that garbarge about how 'bad' I am to be with a thai girl or a group of thai girls, who were students or friends. This attitude you are displaying is the EXACT same attitude as the kimberlys who throw a hissy fit every time a foreigner is with a korean. Come on now, you should be better than that!

Thailand is a great place for a vacation. Nothing wrong with a single guy getting some while there even if that is his main reason to go there. I'm with itaewonguy on this one. Save your judging for people who do bad things.
