the Leafs? on a TAPED game? gonna wait until 6pm to show?
the young stars of the Blackhawks visit Sundin and Luongo in Vancouver LIVE at noon our time Sunday!
(any hockey fan can get it on nhl.com's gamecentre and watch live)
..... but hanging out with other hockey buffs over hot wings and beer would be great for a sunday
if you guys ever decide to show a LIVE game at noon sunday (and a game NOT including the gawd-awful Leafs) then you might attract more hockey fans
two weeks from this sunday noon our time is a live game between Calgary and Edmonton: the Battle of Alberta is always good and both teams are in position to make the playoffs.... think about it!
(Sharks also visit Vancouver the first sunday noon our time in March, but San Jose has owned the Canucks of late so I dunno how competitive that game will be) |

The less the leafs are on ANY tv, or Hockey Night in Canada broadcasts, the better.
You are welcome. |

LIVE Montreal @ Colorado Itaewon
Anybody thinking of going? ... I went to RMT to see a game once a year or two ago and the only guys in there who showed any interest in the game were the staff, the customers made up of three half-drunk americans from the night before, a canadian guy with his gal more interested in the food, and some guy who sat in the corner with his head in a book |

I cannot think of a better way to spend heart day than watching hockey with you at the rmt, VI.
I would count on a raucous crowd for the Habs game tomorrow.. I watch a bit of hockey there, Wednesday nights are usually dead, but I like it that way. Saturday night broadcasts usually not as it's drinking night there, although there was a Habs-Caps game I caught awhile back.
I usually catch the Sunday broadcasts doing the whole breakfast thing, but I'll make it next week.
p.s. 2 potential upset specials this week
1) Hate to say it but Toronto
2) Philadelphia |

Why would people want to watch hockey at 6pm on a Sunday after the game is over.
A good party would be to start drinking tonight at 3 am for the Boston game and keep drinking until the canucks game finishes at about 3pm.
Or serve a western breakfast starting at 9 Am for live games and start drinking around 11 Am for the late game.
People much rather watch live games. |

Why watch a game at 6pm instead of 9am?
A casual dinner instead of breakfast.
While I will have a few drinks, I don't recall ever starting to drink at 3am.
I won't look at the computer the days I'm seeing a taped game-in front of a television, and without knowing the score beforehand, it is the same thing as live. |

Lol, the people on this board never fail to surprise me!!! hi-jacking threads is a hobby for some and more power to them.
For people that want to watch a game at night with their friends and hang out, it is a good chance. If you want to wake up at 3 am and get hammered, good on you. We had 45 people last week and it was a success but that is just people that arent alcoholics and wanted to watch the game and have a good time.
Please give me more ideas to keep customers from coming out to the bar : ) |

Vanislander, will you be there watching the game tomorrow?
If I wake up early enough to do do my 90 minutes I will be there as I have not been to a morning game+breakfast in awhile; and as many Habs fans let me hear it earlier in the year, I don't mind seeing another Habitant loss-even Charbonneau was a childhood hero, it wasn't the best move keeping Price in against the Oilers.

Oh, it's true, yingwenlaoshi.

I also watch the games there. How to do it is no mystery...you have to pay. It cost me $179 Canadian for the season (I think $50 off if you buy now). Worth every penny to me. If you need to work before a game is finished, get replay media catcher (the only one I have ever found to capture NHL.com's flash stream... |
