how is this possible??? seriously!!! from a puddle of water and gas in the atmosphere, bacteria in a puddle of water, from a creature out of the sea, to land, to a monkey, to me!! WOW! here I am!!
all this from nothing..!! ! perfect random chance!
plllleeeaaassseeeeee.....

seriously do you guys buy that??

You delight in your ignorance, don't you?

The above paragraph contains several fallacies and mis characterizations of evolutionary theory. Let's see if we can get them all. I'll go first.

1. We didn't evolve from monkeys. Who's next?

Yes, I've asked myself that, and I've asked myself where God came from, if there is a God.
I've also asked myself where Cain got his wife.
I've also asked myself what the turtle stands on.
I've also asked myself what the first chair oboist tunes to.

There is a Hindu belief that there is a tiny entity sitting inside each person's eye. When this entity sees the image in front of the person, that person sees the image.
This explanation doesn't go very far, because it doesn't explain how the entity inside the eye sees the image.

You may ask, "How does the maze of corneas, retinas, and optic nerves enable a person to see the image?" I don't know, and scientists don't either. There are a lot of things science doesn't know.

But there is one significant difference between scientists and religious leaders. Scientists admit that they don't know everything and try to learn more. Religious leaders, on the other hand, pretend that they know everything and forbid their followers to learn anything else.

I'll choose science over religion any day.

I never said we did!
I said..
to land to a monkey to us!
common ancestor was some kind of monkey wasnt it!!
without that common ancestor we wouldnt be here now would we!!
who's next??

so my question still stands!

do you guys ever seriously question things? or are you guys just like religious folk and believe one thing!

You contradict yourself in the bolded sentences. First you say, you didn't say we evolve from monkeys, then you say we did, as it was some kind of monkey. It is amazing that you can do this in the same post.

What is going on in your head?

We share a common ancestor with every creature on the planet. Our closest cousins are chimpanzees and bonobos. They are not monkeys.

The second bolded sentence is interesting.

Quote:
common ancestor was some kind of monkey wasnt it!!

How do you come to this conclusion? This is like saying we share a common ancestor with an elephant, therefore it must have been some kind of elephant. Or to show the absurdity of this sentence even more clearly, the common ancestor of elephants and humans must have been some kind of human.

You are not very good at this. You have been through countless threads on evolution where the most basic points have been explained to you time and time again. You still do not get them. You should probably just give up.

Why do you think we are uncritically accepting Evolution?
What questions do you want us to ask first?

Evolutionary theory shows us that monkeys and man may have a common ancestor if you go back far enough, but man evolved from a primate other than MONKEYs.

Of course evolutionists question the theory, just look at how much it's changed in the last 150 years. Would it be changing if we all just took it for rote? Can creationists say the same?

Now the Creationists on this thread are going to turn it around and say,
"See there? Scientists can't make up their mind!
This year's textbook contradicts last year's textbook!
So how can you rely on science?"

We've told them a hundred times that it's safer to rely on something which is approaching the truth than to rely on something that is consistently wrong.
But that always goes in one ear and out the other, along with everything else we tell them.

Sarcasm..lol. That requires an intelligence that your copious use of exclamation marks tells me you simply do not have. You say you were being sarcastic because that is your built in response for when people correct you/destroy your argument. This happens to you often.

You actually think we evolved from monkeys. Why? Because you need to keep repeating your little mantras as loud as you can to keep out what you don't want to believe.

You have a few mantras you like to use. My favorite is the 'evolution is just a theory' one. I like it, because it betrays your deep, deep scientific ignorance.

Now, please reply with many exclamation marks and no content. Stay true to form.

Natural/Sexual selection is not based on chance. Mutation is based on chance, whereas the proliferation of those mutations is based on the relative fitness of individuals carrying the mutations. Why do you think conditions like cystic fibrosis aren't that common?

problem is you are as stale as old bread and you didn't catch the joke! so instead of looking like the tosser! you play the "you are ignorant card"!
nice try.. but no dice!!!

ummm NO you actually believe we evolved from monkeys!
go ahead and believe that! you want to believe we evolved from primates, monkeys, apes, all share a common species etc.. you do that!! ! its a free world! I'll be here waiting for you to prove it and demonstrate it in a lab! run along now johnny! put your coat on! put your eye to the telescope and let me know when you got something that sticks!
the worlds been waiting for a scientific genius like you...

scientific ignorance!? you come up with that all by yourself??
right so everyone who doesn't agree with you are scientifically ignorant? nice one johnny!!

and why don't we all just settle in for another year of Bullshit content to this board and the threads on evolution! where you post regurgetated statements of theories, and assumptions! ill come back here in 2015 and you will we still be here typing the bollucks you post with no real evidence to back up your claims! and the while calling everyone who doesn't agree with it idiots!!

yeah ok hero! keep it up...you are a champion!!!

So the theory goes...
and you actually believe this 100%???
still so much we don't know about cystic fibrosis either..

How does biology explain consciousness?

you know.. I would take it all more seriously if scientists could all agree!
fact of the matter is they can't!
one scientists will say this! and call that a theory
another scientists will say that! and call that his theory!
or a hypothosis ...
blar blar blar
well what is it?? ohhhh well, could be any one of them... we just dont know!
