Could someone translate for me (in hangul): "Do not spit in the elevator". I need to make a sign for my building.

I'm sure I'm not the only person who could use this service.

...animals...

침을 뱉지마세요

While you're at it might be a good idea to add one that reads "please do you urinate". Seen this many times on the walls outside the elevator on the first floor.

소변을 보지마세요

A drawing of someone spitting in an elevator inside a circle with a line diagonally through it would also probably get your point across.

damn mike...I remember reading your posts not too long ago talking about how gung-ho you were about world-traveling and handing Korea its collective ass. I don't know man...if this spitting stuff shakes you up...you might not go the distance. Walk it off big guy.

From the handwriting it is going to be obvious that the foreigner wrote this. Do you really want to alienate everyone in your building?

I still like it here, and I'm still happy to be here, but the spitting is something I could live without. I never said Korea was the greatest, but it's not horrible either.

Is it all or nothing with you people?
