But I'd still like to update. I googled and autopatcher seems ghetto and didn't work. Anything better out there that anyone knows of?
Really I just want to use msn messenger again. I went back to like version 7.5 but it was still demanding I update on the MS website...
I tried trillian but the interface is not too hot and it doesn't support typing in Korean very well.
Help appreciated. |

Antivir tells me that keyfinder from that link is a virus.
I open it anyway but I can't change the key to any of the 4 I tried, generated from that Keygen. My XP is Pro but not English, it's Korean. Maybe that matters? I don't know much about such things...
I wonder if I could just go from step 3 of that readme and be ok.
Thanks for the link, I hope I can get it to work. |

I have used that very download a number of times (on Korean and English systems) without problem. As I said, follow the 'read me'. There is no virus in there, I am sure of that.
First, you must find your old serial, then generate a new one, change them around and then, finally, 'validate' the serial.
Occasionally, the 'validate' step needs to be done a couple of times. I have left it saying "not genuine" before, rebooted and then gone to Windows Update without issue. |
