When I watch You Tube and other videos, the upload is much slower than the rate of viewing. How can I improve the speed of the upload?

If your internet connection is too slow to watch youtube normally then there really isn't much you can do except pay for a faster internet connection.

But I would be surprised if anyone in Korea had such a slow connection.

Try an internet speed test. Find one using google. Run the test about 5 times and take an average. If your download speed is less than 1mbps then you need to call your ISP and have them check out your connection.

In the meantime, you might already be doing this, try pausing the video just after it starts then do something else for a couple of minutes. When you come back, the video should be fully buffered and ready to play without stopping.

I know speed bit video accelerator can improve your video streaming speed but I don't know about in the upload.

Or use video downloader in firefox to download the youtube video you want to see.
