Hi, no TB or anything like that, but I do have an enlarged heart..always have..

Will that hurt getting my visa?

Regarding the eye exam..the last few years I wear bifocals..and want to know what to expect about the vision as to what it needs to be?

Can't speak to the heart issue, but when I have had my medical checks (2 in Korea), I wore my glasses or contacts while having the exam. I was asked no questions about using them and passed without comment. My vision is pretty poor without them, but it seemed to be a non-issue. When I was wearing contacts, I tried to make it obvious that I had them (but spoke no Korean at the time, and they spoke almost no English).

I'd love to know if it has been an issue for anyone else, though.

Edit: I just realized you asked about the glasses regarding your visa-I don't recall even filling anything out on a form about my vision.

Is poor eyesight relevant to anything? Obviously one can just wear glasses. Immigration just demands these things because their incompetent. Clearly it wouldn't matter. They really only care about the aids test and the drug test.

Well..definitely nothing on any CBC..
drug..or anything else..

so ..reading a chart..well..sometimes I have to go up the chart a bit to read from a distance..

no TB problems..just wondered about the enlarged heart on an x-ray..but it clearly is not a heart disease issue..been there ..done that..checked out thoroughly for my own piece of mind..
