Hi all. What's the hi-speed internet like in South Korea? Esp. Busan, since that's where I'm going. Should I get a router for my laptop before I head on over? How do you sign up for your hi-speed internet in SK? Can I get it written in my contract that my employer will include a hi-speed connetion in my apartment? Thanks. |

Might want to get a good router with English while in the states. Otherwise you can get one here but it might cost a little more. You could always look on buy and sell as second hand routers are often sold there at good prices. I've never heard of the school paying for ur isp but u could always try...maybe if they're hard up they'll do it. |

Some models here do have English. The routers can cost a bit more in Busan. Try posting on www.pusanweb.com for more specific info, unless someone can tell him where in Busan to buy.
Linksys models (and some Belkin models) have English. I've had very good luck with Belkin. My Belkin N wifi router has been working well. Also had good luck with cheap little Belkin wireless G, but you have to check to make sure you get an English model. |

When you get here and get set up in your apt, just ask your school to install wireless internet at your apt. The guy will come out with the router and do it all for you. Doesn't cost much. Very simple. |

You can just buy a router in Korea and download the english files from the internet and slap it onto your router.
BTW, I have a NetGear router. |
