You can get an account under your name as a foreigner if you have a valid ARC lasting more than 3 months and a passport. But should you have an ARC expiring in less than 3 months, than your best option would be a prepaid phone. The phone I'm selling works as prepaid. There is an LG Shop near my neighborhood, so I can even help you hook up your phone if you need help with Korean.

If you can post the model number it may be helpful. I have a friend that is looking for a Korean dictionary and if I can find a USB charger for it, I'll buy it just for the dictionary. Having bluetooth or something else to transfer pictures would also make it really nice.
