OK, I've got two cans of Strongbow in the fridge. Don't ask me why - I hate the stuff. But! It's bearable when mixed with blackcurrant squash, which you obviously can't get a the local Famileemartuh. So...
What (non-alcoholic drink/s) should I mix with Strongbow?
ps. I know it's lunch time, but today was the last day of school, and we just had a staff lunch with muchos soju. Justified! |

Well the problem is he said he can't get the 'black' here.
There is one close equivalent. There is a drink called 복분자 which is raspberry flavored, so close enough. it's sold in both an alcoholic form (which you don't want) and in a small bottled concentrate form (which you do want). I suggest looking in the refrigerator of your local reasonable sized mart. You should be able to see some tiny little bottles of raspberry/blackberry flavoured concentrate next to the tiny bottles of health drinks. Usually it's mixed with soju, but I'm sure it'll be fine with strongbow.
Your next step is to buy a 6,000won bottle of Commander vodka.
Then buy a pitcher of Cass or Hite or something.
Then mix your strongbow, bokbunja, beer and vodka together. You will have a delicious Turbo Diesel (the vodka makes it Turbo). This is the only cocktail Northern Englanders and Scots are allowed to drink. Southern pansies like myself can drink all kinds of fruity things, but Northern types have to stick to this.

turbo diesel is made with Pulse or Whitelightning cider and Special Brew and black
never heard of it being made with vodka before. Sounds gay, what man puts vodka in their diesel when it's already supercharged with Pulse and SB. |

Good work guys. Am gonna go with the 복분자 (copied and pasted obviously) with a pitcher of Cass (for extra chemically goodness). The vodka is out cos it's pissing down and I don't wanna leave my building complex (FM eeseoyo!)

What?
No
Snakebite is bitter and cider
diesel is when you chuck in some black current. cassis would be a metrosexual diesel, don't think The Free Trade Inn in Byker has any cassis behind the bar. |

Just got back from Pamily Martuh (thx mnhnm). The only 복분자 was the alcoholic kind.
So I got some of that, but I also got some 오디 juice, which has some kind of berries on the label. It looks too diluted though. Am gonna try that first, then when that fails I'll stick the 복분자 in. I decided on Hite, for a less vitalizing taste.
I don't own fruit. |
