Wow, so many people have been to a ton of places. Here's my relatively short list
US 14 states (not counting ones I've only travelled through and not visited)

Korea

Favorite country: Vietnam (I loved it for the ultra-friendly people and great food)
Least favorite: Cambodia (To be fair, I was only in Siem Reap/Angkor and Phnom Penh. I just found it depressing. But I'd give the country another shot and go outside the big cities)

Favorite city: Singapore (food, food, food)
Least favorite city: Phnom Penh. Though, if you consider Vang Viang, Laos to be a city, that's my least favorite.

Favorite area: Northwest Vietnam (not Sapa which seems like an amusement park). Unspoiled, pretty un-touristed (not that I'm anti-other-tourists), rugged, friendly. Oh yeah, and some scary mountain roads (landslides galore) with even scarier, crowded buses (On two occasions I counted 30 passengers on the bus with only 20 seats, yes we were at 150% capacity) with maniac drivers. Nonetheless, it's a totally awesome area.

Least favorite area: Connecticut. What the heck is in Connecticut, anyways?!? I've always disliked that state.

I've been travelling since mid September and so fa I've been to

Japan, New Zealand, Australia, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos and Malaysia.

Plus I fly to India tomorrow.



Prior to that I've been to South Korea (obviously), Taiwan, Phillipines, Indonesia, Singapore, China, Mexico, the Netherlands and the USA.


16 countries so far and I'll add another one tomorrow.


And still so many more that I want to see.

^ I just got here today. I'm in the south and will limit the travels to Tamil Nadu and Kerela.

I'll save the other parts of India when I have more time.

But so far I'm just in love with the place. It's intense on the senses though, but I still really appreciate it.

Today while trying to find my bus (God is that ever an endevor a goat and a cow walked right beside me. And I was in the middle of a city (Trichy).


I consider myself to have done a lot of travelling, however, there is simply no other place that can compare with India.

I've been VERY BLESSED. My love-to-travel parents dragged me to new places from 6 months old. So even though I don't remember some of the places I've been to, I still have all the passports w/the entry/exit stamps (when they were required for travel in Europe)....
