I won't be renewing with GEPIK. We have a matter regarding the housing. Apparently my school wants me to move out one week early. Also, how long does it take to get my 900,000 won deposit back? I was also told that they deduct a specific amount for a "cleaning" expense. I said that part is BS. The place was dirty when i moved in and besides you are asking me to move out early which give you plenty of time to clean the apartment yourself.
Any comments? |

Well, there's nothing you can do about it, really. They'll keep some money, not clean the apartment, and you'll get some change eventually.
You'll get a lot back, however. Just got to keep it also to make sure you don't walk off with a washing machine or whatever. |

Leave when your contract is up, not before. lol
Again, check your contract mate. It stops when it ends, that includes the apartment, don't leave until you have to. Not a day before.

Tell them that you getting out early is going to cost them the full housing deposit upfront, and you aren't getting out until it is deposited into your account. Or something. They want something extra from you, that means you can negotiate. |
