My what a strange day it's been. It feels like Vancouver in April. This gloomy but warm winter storm just seems to create such a weird mood.

Yeah, it's been dark like 7pm here all morning and there's no lights on in the hallways...it feels quite strange.

Another bizzare thing: some of the floors that were mopped first thing this morning are still damp at 2pm.

I'll take this weather in February any day. I can't remember a day like this in the last four Februarys that I've been here where it was almost 15 or 16 degrees.

I have never witnessed so many umbrellas destoyed by the wind. When I was walking home today I saw 5 that were in such bad shape people had just thrown them on the ground.

No shit! The warm, tropical depression from South China reminded me of the 'pineapple express' from Hawaii slamming into the west coast of Canada. Just before I left for work, I thought there was a possibility of my balcony windows being 'blown in'. Laughing

Haha, I don't know where you are but in Changwon I saw at least 20 in a ten minute walk. I just ran with my jacket over my head. Magnificent today though.
