I bought a LAN adapter:

http://kr.ysp.shopping.yahoo.com/ysp/11st/?http://www.11st.co.kr/connect/Gateway.tmall?method=Xsite&tid=1000000101&prdNo=8735954

I'm on KT Megapass. I've tried connecting it to my ethernet hub, but I can't get online. I keep getting errors.

I called KT up and they registered the MAC address of my Wii, but they said that they don't know the procedure for getting it online. They can do it for the Xbox, but they're not sure about the Wii.

Anyways, I still can't get online. I've tried automatic IP/DNS detect (like my PC) and putting in manual settings. I'm assuming I'm connected because when I set it as the same IP as my PC it gives me an, "already in use" error and my PC complains. I've tried changing the last digit in the IP but to no avail. I've read everything at nintendo support. They just give me a lame...maybe your IP or hub is incompatible.

Any advice other than to buy a wireless router or USB wifi for my PC? That's Plan B.

Cheers

That's what I did with mine. Worked like a charm.

We had the same problem. It has to do with the numbers in the ethernet router. You do have a router, right? If you don't KT should provide you one for free. Have them come and search the router site to find the numbers you need.

Need more help? PM me.
