Hi All,
What is your experiences with getting a phone?
Is it cheaper to get cell phones or land phones? I have heard that S.K. is full of cell phones. How does a newbie go about getting a phone? I would assume that an ARC is needed for a land phone, what about cell phones?

Sorry if this has already been covered somewhere but I can't seem to find anything.

I am just curious about how most foreigners get phones here. I know some people are married to Koreans. How else do you get phones? Do your friends use their id's? (I have a phone, I'm curious about how others get them for future reference to help other foreigners.)

maybe we can add on to this?
i am thinking it's cheaper for cell phones - my wife and i will need one each.
