Hey, I made a mistake. My Matiz is a 2001. It's the same body style.
OP, I think you should take a look at the vehicles on that list and ask something just below average. Put it up for sale on encar. It'll fly quickly, I'd think.
I'd hate to see you ask too little. I don't think you were screwed on what you initially paid. Once these things get to a certain age, they sort of hover around the same price. Newer and they cost more.
Teachers here tend not to buy cars over 1 million won. That's what I've noticed over the years.
Go to the classifieds in the community forum on koreaherald.com . Keukdong motors (?) is there, and they buy used cars from foreigners. See what they'll do for you. |

| I'm not sure how accurate this information is, but my coworker told me you can get over 500,000 to junk a car yourself -- they recycle most everything from it. |

| Yeah, the way he explained it, it depends on the model, i.e. the more metal/recyclable parts, the more $. I guess a Gallopper or van or something like that....he said my Sonata, if it had alloy wheels, would've been worth 200k instead of the 150 I got. |

Automatic,
and yes, thanks bassexpander, we will be putting it on a Korean website via your advice.
By the way, it is a Matiz II. Could be why it is more expensive than a similar model Matiz I. |

| Mine is also a Matiz 2. I think my year was the first year they made the II models. Before that, they were I. |
