I've asked a bunch of times but thought I'd try again.
I've seen the Muay Thai place up the street from Starbucks at Suwon station but wondering if there's a Judo, Hapkido, or JuiJitsu place anywhere in Suwon.
Thanks. |

Look around any of the large apartment complexes for the apartment 'sang-ga' It's basically the building with all of the dry cleaners, hair salons, hogwans, chicken joints, PC bangs. That's usually where all of the TaeKwonDo/Hapkido places are. I've been taking Hapkido for a while now and it's pretty awesome. It's pretty much the full range of combat. Long range-kicks, Mid range-punches/strikes, Close range-joint locks and last, ground fighting. |

I thought about getting into Taekwondo (took it for a year as a kid), but a friend talked to me about taking Hapkido. After doing some reading on it, I'm reaalllly looking forward to finding a place to take it near Anseong |

It's a blast. Pretty difficult physically as well
You'll have fun though, but be forewarned. Not that many adults at all take martial arts here. But if you take the last class of the evening, you should have some decent sized high school kids to tussle with. |
