OK, perhaps "attacks" was too strong a word.

My general impression of the thread was that while the individual posts were very civil, the overall mood of the thread was not so friendly. I think Tony was being very thorough in his responses and maintained a very positive tone. Other posters seemed to be ganging up on him as the people against ATEK seemed to vastly outnumber those who support it.

^ Thanks for that. Still waiting for a response as to why the thread was deleted. PM'd a MOD, but no response yet.

Has anyone heard anything? Or tried to ask Tony directly?

The link above, the google search, has no links to the deleted sticky. The search links to additional ATEK threads (that by the way, had all been locked). If a mod has the time to remove a sticky, s/he has the time to make a short announcement of why the sticky was removed. Why just pretend it never existed? I guess (because all we can do is guess when mods make no clear comment ) any new posts about ATEK will not be locked since there is no sticky anymore.

Since Chicken has made his intention of pursuing legal action against ATEK VERY clear, this would constitute destroying/obfuscating evidence wouldn't it?

Some of Tony's responses would probably be of use in the case, and deleting them from public record for the sole purpose of protecting him from legal action would seem to be illegal, though I am not a lawyer.

I would guess that Tony may have a friend amongst the mods. Which makes the action of locking all the ATEK threads in the purpose of creating ONE ATEK thread hidden amongst the stickies that get ignored look suspicious as well.

Chicken, you may want to consider naming the mods in your complaint as well, so that we can get to the bottom of this, since no answers are forthcoming.

Tony dug APEK so deeply into the hole with dishonesty and answers to questions that were NOT straight up, that himself and APEK stood no chance of recovering. He obviously had the mods delete the thread as it showed how unprofessional and pathetic he was as Campaign Spokesperson. Tony's only hope now is to "bunker-down" for sometime and hope things quiet down. Then come out fresh with a new campaign. Can't wait for that one!

Too bad for Tony and APEK that the F Visa holders are here for the longhaul and won't forget about how they tried to drive a wedge between the foreign teachers at the expense of the F Visa holders. I, for one, did not appreciate their attempt to throw me under the bus in the name of equality and fairness.

My guess is he won't be backon this board for a long time.

I've gone through all of Tony's postings and the threads and both saved all the pages as well as printed them all. If the mods delete the thread, I'll be able to show that it indeed existed.

Alot of what people say can have huge problems in the future. Tony admitted in a threat that he came up with a fake number. That number was published. Was it deleted? Probably will be. Did I record it?

Absolutely!

You can also record changes to web pages as well and changes to details, so when stuff goes missing or 'offline', it's still on record.
