"Adjuma"

Ajumma is a KOREAN word, used by KOREANS, to refer to other KOREANS. It generally means an older, married lady who has children. How the use of it here 'knocks Koreans' is beyond me.

The jury's still out on this one. Personally I wouldn't use it, but don't have a problem with people who do.

Yes she's Chinese. Where she's from doesn't matter. She's a baby that makes me laugh. So I posted it in hopes that others would laugh too. Why is everyone here so serious? Get over yourselves.

BTW: Ajuma is not racist in the slightest. It's a Korean word that means married woman. My wife showed me the video actually and said "Check out this ajuma!" My wife's Korean, ajumma is not offensive, except that it could make one feel old.

There's a reason she flips out. Not sure if it's a good reason or not, but there's definitely a reason. I think she mentions that it's not even time for departure, yet the plane leaves. She also mentions that the husband (man) had the opportunity to board, but apparently, was waiting for her. She says that if he had boarded, he would have been able to stall the plane.

I'm chinese and i've seen this before. So i'm gonna back the woman and give her the benefit of the doubt. This type of flipout doesn't occur often, unless there's a good reason (medical, mental, whatever). But I could be wrong and she's just literally throwing a tantrum.

And it really reveals how childish some of the people on this board really are sometimes. This isn't a Korean woman. Save it for when it's deserved.

Back the woman? She missed her flight, probably confused take-off time with boarding. Where is her husband? Gone, hahaha. If she was checked in they would have called her name, and when she didn't arrive they would as a matter off policy unload her luggage. This would further delay the plane. If this was a guy they'd have taken out the tazers.

Personally I thought she was the pilot.

LOL.

Apparently she said that they were not late, but for safety and to depart on tim, the gate had to close before they got there.. and she was saying how unfair it was and how it was completely unreasonable. The plane was still there.

The man with her is her husband. The *voice* said they would arrange for another flight for them and the woman kept saying over and over again *why is this happening*.

Haha.. hilarious.

They are Cantonese, btw.

You people really are dorks and losers if you revel in this and pin it on koreans. Quit being bozos and getting hard-ons with this sort of thing and go back to the US and work at Foot Locker or Blockbuster. You are embarrassing virgins and ugly in appearance.

She's lucky she didn't pull that stunt at JFK. She would have been tasered, charged under the Partiot Act for terrorism and put in a FEMA camp.

I remember I have talked about this topic with my friend before:

It seems Ajummas all around world share lots of common ponints. My Canaidan friend told me how his mom would spend 4 days wondering around a market without buying anything. And how she could drive a hard bargain over a cup of coffee.

I used to be very intolerant of such behaviors, but now tend to accept them and found those ladies pretty awesome.

The Ajumma philosophy is absolutely something deserving more attention, especially in international business/relationship... Laughing

I don't think that this is an example of hating a country as it is making fun of a stereotype that has proven true many, many times over.

I know plenty of KOREAN women who tell me their own ajumma stories. They love it too.

So, maybe crash bang should learn more about the REAL Korea or leave.

We all love ajumma and her shananagans.

That's what I was thinking. Maybe Cantonese? Didn't recognize any Mandarin.

Anyway, it's a boring video.
