Just wondering if anyone has taught in Gwanak, and if so what was your experience like? I want to be in or around Seoul but I don't necessarily want to right in the thick of things.
Interested in everything from nightlife and any western culture to the schools and the locals. Any help is much appreciated. |

| Gwanak is a mountain on the southern edge of Seoul, and is also surrounded by Gwacheon, Anyang, and possibly one or two other satellite cities. Think you can be more specific? |

From Wikipedia - Gwanak District, or Gwanak-gu is an administrative subdivision (gu) of Seoul, South Korea. It lies on southern skirt of Seoul, bordering Seoul and Anyang of Gyeonggi Province. Craggy ridgeline of Mt. Gwanak (Gwanak-san) |

I see. Wouldn't have thought of that first. There are some big universities around there, which means there'll be pockets of nightlife. Also the mountain is pretty cool. Good location transportation wise. |
