So last week was graduation week. All the students wore their shoes in the hall and there was a bit of a buzz in the air. There were flowers and lazy class periods, thankful parents randomly skimming the hall ways.

A few local public officials showed up to the ceremony to hand out certificates of achievement. All the students were chattering away wondering about their new school and clearly ready to be done with this one.

A well edited movie was played that highlighted the school year. The home room teachers were displayed first along with the various projects they worked on as a group then the non-home room teachers, then there was a recorded speech from the VP and principal, next came some pictures of renovation that occurred during the school year closely followed by the pictures taken of the field trips. The movie was ended with the group picture of all the students taken from the roof of the building.

Funny thing was that there was one teacher missing from the whole video. I've been there for 8 months and have been asked to resign. Clearly this was an oversight. I mean, who would show a movie of the school year and include pictures of the new floors in the hall or computer lab instead of a teacher?

This seems to deserve more thought.

Resign... or re-sign?

That hyphen is pesky little bugger! Wink
