All you need is the 10 wons or 100 wons if you so choose
web cam
PC

I keep leaving the coins near my desk, but not technically on my area. On the floor. Next to garbage, on fruit peels. Next to used tissues. Lo and behold teachers and my co-teacher will take the money. They will look around and like freaking Scrooge McDuck take the cash and sit down and start working.

The look on their face is priceless. Its like they found a gold nugget or something. Now if only I could put fecal matter on them or something.

Honestly worth more than a trip to the bank to cash in the coins

Find some wet, messy dye. Cover one side of the coin in dye, and leave the coin on your desk with the other side facing up. When your coworker grabs the coin, their hands will be stained and they'll be suuuper embarassed.

Would take a bit of work, but if you could fashion some chocolate coins to look like 10 and 100 won coins that would be classic Very Happy

Well,...technically you can. Laughing

My step father once did a similar experiment at the urging of one of his doctor friends. Take a $10 bill, his friend said, and leave it on your desk in plain view where anyone can see it. Do this for a total of 3 patients, and give each patient ample alone time in your office. But the catch is, make it 3 patients who are also friends, who furthermore you would trust with your life(!) [my father was a small-town country chiropractor with many regular patients who fit this bill]

The 10 dollar bill remained.....

Then (some time later)...hide the 10 bucks on your desk....so just a corner is showing and nothing more.

My father positioned the bill so that only the patient could easily see it, and made a point to not check between patients. (secretly he didn't really want to know.) Of course, in the end it was gone with the wind.

What the hell does all of this mean? We are all kleptos in banker's clothing? Confused

Edit down a highlight reel, upload it to youtube, and post the url here so we can ALL enjoy it!

Sounds hilarious, I love that hidden-camera stuff.

Once coin has been taken, offer to buy them a coffee. If they accept, start patting your pockets as if you've lost something, then exclaim 'I'm sure I had beck won a minute ago', look on the floor and under tables. Then buy them a coffee, but you go without!

I've never had money taken. I'm really blase about loose change, if I drop it I hardly ever pick it up. So I leave change on my desk all the time. But my candy gets absolutely pillaged! The cheeky blighters ate almost 2 packs of those mini hersheys! And they aren't cheap! Could have been some students but I don't think so somehow.

seconded. did this at our public school last year with a 500 coin. the gym teacher tried for a while as did others, gym teacher leaves, comes back 20 minutes later with a chisel and hammer. he ended up taking a full floor tile off with the coin. i never came closer to sh1tting myself in my life.

Best idea of the year. It makes me wish I had co-teachers.

Even more fun...

Buy some of that liquid metal you can use to patch an engine block with or drill a screw into. You can stick coins onto the cement with that, and they won't come up unless you have a hammer and chisel. When I was a university student, some neighbors next door did that on the sidewalk out in front of their house in a heavily-trafficked area next to campus. Almost constant daily entertainment. Imagine doing that at a hagwon and watching the kids go nuts trying to get it off.

Yeah, superglue obekwons to the sidewalk+ webcam = comedy gold. Hell, they got puppycams and crap like that; why not? You could finance it by selling advertising space to the companies who sell rubber vomit and stinkbombs and stuff like that.
I smell business plan...
