Does anybody know if you can find replica watches in Korea? I mean good ones such as Bell & Ross, U-Boat, Audemars Piguet, Roger Dubuis, etc., not Rolex.

I am well aware that good replicas of these would still be considerably pricey.

Just get a real one. Why buy a copy that will *beep* up in a short time? Quality costs with watches.

There's an underground shopping area near Eulji-ro 2-ga. There you will find a large map of Seoul. Take a dart and throw it at the map. You will find knock-off watches at the place where the dart hit.

Spend your money on a well made watch in your price range like a Seiko or a Citizen. Why pay for something with a brandname on the outside a cheap Chinese gears on the inside? Would you drive a Porche that was all Kia under the hood?

I know a guy and he has a watch that has a one time trigger that will send a helicopter to rescue him wherever he is. It sends a signal by satellite I think.

You're asking for a knock-off of a company that doesn't even advertise prices until you try one on (Audemars)...good luck bud

They do sell knockoffs for Piguet's. I've also seen knockoffs of Patek's, JLC's, etc. I've seen knockoffs in Itaewon but they were pretty bad. There are a lot of good knockoffs these days that in many cases, use the same movements and are virtually indistinguishable from the real watches themselves. It will cost you.

If I were you, I would just take the money you would spend on a fake and buy the best quality watch you could afford. Either that, or look online for a used watch. Do your research on the seller and you could get a watch in like new condition for half retail.

I bought a breitling watch of a guy in chinatown, assumed it was a knockoff. had it opened to replace the battery a few months later and it has an automatic movement. So I think I got a hell of a watch for $15

A watch with an automatic movement does not have a battery. If there was a battery in there, the watch does not have an automatic movement. Still, if you're happy with the watch, that's all that matters.

sorry, I wasn't clear. I thought it was a fake so when it stopped working I assumed it was a bad battery. The guy selling me watch batteries unscrewed the back case and told be it was an automatic movement. I just had to wear it more and it would never run down.

I've always been pretty content with my timex expedition. It cost $30, looks decent, has indiglo, and has lasted me for 8 years so far.
