Sony's aren't as good as they used to be.

800,000 is a fair price. I looked around and open box deals on that TV are $800 in the US.

On a side note, 42" Vizio 1080p Plasmas are selling for $600 in the US. Too bad you can't buy them in Korea for that price.

Perhaps Vizio can be had for much cheaper; however, so far what I've heard about Vizio is that quality isn't their trademark.

Depends which model. I`m thinking his was top of the line and should be a good deal. The low end ones suck.

I'm just curious. Why do you use that (`) for your apostrophes?

You said you're delivering it to Seoul on Monday? I'm interested.

You said you have a wall-mount. Does it still have the regular stand for a TV?

If it has the stand, and works in perfect condition, I'll give you 700,000 won for the TV.

PM me if you want. I have the cash ready to give you if you want it.

Cheers mate.

I have a friend with a 42" Samsung, and another with a 42" Vizio. The picture looks great on both TV's. Blu Ray movies on both TV's looked stunning.

The friend with the Samsung paid about $500 more than my friend with the Vizio. I sure as hell can't see a $500 difference in the picture. They both looked great.

Please reply to either my e-mails or phone calls. I transfered the money, but have yet to receive the TV, or even any reassurance that it is on the way.

You're kidding, right? For that kind of wedge you should have paid on delivery.

Well, I'll be posting a buyer beware tomorrow if the item does not arrive tonight, which I doubt it will, and attempting to track down his sister who lives in Seoul, at least to find out if she actually exists. We have the name and bank account number of the account the money was transferred into... anything we can do with that?

Was this a Korean or a westerner you bought from? I would go to the police asap. Post the phone number here as well. Maybe someone else will be able to contact. How much did u transfer?

It was definitely a westerner. He didn't give me his phone number but his "Brother in law's" phone number, as well as his "friend's" phone number... do I post them both? Also I don't want to do that until I know for sure it will not arrive, though the phone is turned off so I think it's pretty safe to assume by now. As for the transfer amount, it was the whole thing, 800,000. I know I know, stupid.

You don't fancy grabbing my horse as well. It bolted when the door was open.
