I called and they asked what this was for. I told them it was was a Education Job in Korea, they said I need to get a Department of Justice form and finger printing. It seems like there are a different level of check, can someone tell me what kind I need? |

Just show up at the police department and say "i need a criminal background check (of myself) from this department". Should take less than 5 minutes, get them to notarize it as well. |

You should be able to get a state background check without prints but requirments differ from state to state.
Check out the police website in your state. |

Some states have different names for it. I'm in MA and we call it a CORI check. It's the same thing, but I wasn't sure it was at first. |

You may use a CRC from a local, state, or national organization. Local would be from a local police department. Some states have organizations that provide statewide background checks. As for national, that would be an FBI background check.
Search for criminal record search/check and a level, i.e. your state's name. |
