two girls died that sucks. i'd be mad too if that happened in my country. i wonder if the military lawyers used the rigged boxing defense to get the charges dropped.

Eh? Have you watched the video?

It is of the 1988 olympic heavyweight final where Ray Mercer banjoes Hyung Man Baik inside a round! Laughing I'm sure that result wasn't fixed! Laughing

The point of my post is that some of the American fighters went around the bent judging.

As for the term 'kimbecile' I agree - it isn't very nice - but certain Koreans make extremly offensive remarks about the surnames of their waygook employees - my VP (and a fair number of the other teachers) have been calling me an arsewipe and have done for 6 months by using wordplay via my surname.

So what I am saying is - from personal experience - Koreans are capable of this childish behaviour also.

So what are you 12? Man up and have a conversation with them. They don't like it, find another job. Make a post and say the bosses at this particular school are pretty rude, I recommend against working there. There are assholes in every country, 2 wrongs don't make a right especially when it comes to perpetuating a term being used to insult an entire nation.

Man up? Man up? They nearly got their arse kicked mate - and if this had happened back home - thats what would have happened. Instead the VP (who will be named on this damn forum as will his damn school) more or less got on his knees and begged for my forgiveness. If anyone has acted like an adult and thus a man it is me - for showing heroic restraint.

So the childish, pitiful excuses of excretment don't have to man up eh? They can insult and abuse you and think you have to take it because you are in their country - not so my friend - not so...

I have posted my experiences on the job discussion forum and once this contract is competed - the VP and the school will be named. Bet your severance on it!

Again - you can't read can you? I have said 'certain'
(Huge font size now) Koreans partake in this behaviour - I am very well aware that there are good, honest, decent Koreans - even in my school that is the case - however the term 'kimbecile' is warranted for those Koreans that are not good, honest, decent, kind etc

Yeah I remember 88. I was surprised as they were announcing the decision when the lady said "The winner on points, 3-2..." I was thinking "Jones should have won 5-0 and he only won 3-2?!"
This was followed by the bigger surprise that he didn't win. Shocked
I did read somewhere that one of the judges said he voted for Park because he was sure the others went for Jones and he didn't want the host country to be embarassed by a 5-0 loss Rolling Eyes

Didn't say that. I said that you shouldn't blame a country for the actions of a few. using that term is more or less doing that since that is how its being tossed around these days.
