Official: North Korea to Test Missile That Can Reach U.S.
The Taepodong 2 was last tested in 2006 and fell shortly after launch. It has never successfully been tested or achieved its maximum range.

North Korea plans to test a Taepodong 2 missile that is capable of carrying nuclear weapons and reaching the continental United States in the next three weeks, a senior US defense official with access to the latest intelligence told FOX News.
"They appear to be serious. This is no bluff," the U.S. official said. "It could look like an attack on the US, but it won't be."
The Taepodong 2 was last tested in 2006 and fell shortly after launch. It has never successfully been tested or achieved its maximum range.
The U.S. Navy has put its Aegis radar anti-missile defense system on alert but has stopped short of putting the interceptor missiles on high alert. U.S. intelligence is seeing the North Koreans move the components for a missile launch into place in recent days at a base in North East Korea.
The North Koreans, according to another US analyst, seem to have been emboldened by the world's response - or lack of response - to the recent Iranian satellite launch - and "want to join the club." |

. If Bush had listened to the liberals North Korea would be able to or close to being able to hit the US with a nuclear warhead.
The US can probably knock down a North Korean Korean Missile targeted at the US.This would not be the case if Bush not invested in missile defense. Is the US better off with missile defense or better off without it?
Seems the ABM treaty didn't make the US more secure after all If Bush had listened to the liberals the US would not have missile defense now.
Even President Obama is in favor of it -now.
It is true. |

Didn't North Korea build and test it's first nuclear bomb while the Bush administration was in power? |

How long has NK been working on nuclear weapons?
How many agreements has N Korea kept?
Didn't they have a second nuclear program in violation of the agreement w/ the Clinton admin.? |

They devolved and tested nukes while bush and the republicans were in power.
It's so funny that after over 8 years in power the republicans still try to pin stuff on Clinton |

Nk' Korea's nuclear program goes back before Clinton. I am not pinning it all on Clinton. In fact Clinton to his credit kept missile defense alive.
If the liberals had their way there would have been no missile defense at all. Good that they didn't get their way. |
