I need a decent set of PC speakers around the 40,000w price range.
2.0 or 2.1 setup is what I'm looking for. I'm not looking to blast the music for parties, but I will need the volume so I can hear the speakers over the washing machine/running faucet.
I got a set of Creative I-trigue 2200's now and they don't have enough sound for me. Thought maybe someone on here could recommend some good speakers.
I wanted to go JBL, Logitech, or Altec Lansing but they are REALLY expensive here in Korea. |

I just bought the Creative T10 2.0 speakers in Linkos for 66,000 won.

So far I'm really pleased with them. They won't rock the house, only 5x5w, but they do have a good balance of bass, mid and treble. Perfect desktop speakers, I'd say. Compact, but with a full sound.
I bought them after I lifted them up in Linko's to see the back of them and was really surprised by their weight. Very hefty and solid. |

Have you noticed any static coming from the speaker when there is no sound playing, and the speakers are on? |

No. None at all. They're about a month old now.
Static can happen when moisture gets into a cheap volume pot (knob) after a while. The volume knob on these speakers feels like a good quality one. |

Get a good pair of headphones...Not sure about your apartment, but I was getting noise complaints left and right even on low volumes(at night). I only border two apartments and all the floors below me are shops...
Also britz seem to be lacking, you can get a decent set for 10k won used....Ozaki wasn't that great either. I'd stick to creative or logitech. |

| I second samd. I have the same ones at home and so far nothing to complain about. |
